Silver inlay

Inlay of pure silver with an engraved monogram and
English arabesques as an edging.
The inlay pictured here is found in the base of a pistol grip. This inlay can also be placed in a rifle stock.

For the fine-silver inlay, I use a Maple Leaf with a weight of one ounce:
  

The dollar is adjusted to suit the curve of the grip and
fixed after being fitted exactly with a 2-component glue.
Subsequently, it is filed and smoothed together with the grip:
